Why am I starting a print club?
If you know my work, you know I can never pick just one medium, one favorite color, or one singular path to go down. It’s something I used to look down on, but now it’s what I celebrate most about myself.
I often tell myself, “If you can’t choose one path, why not create them all?”
Is it tiring? Yes, more than I care to admit. But is it worth it? Oh, 1000%. I never want to stop doing this with my life.
I believe there are way too many things in this world to love to settle on just one, if you don’t feel called. So I created a club to celebrate all the things to love about this life.
It’s called A Lot to Love Print Club, a monthly print club celebrating art and color and educating about play. And I truly think it’s my best project yet. As of January 25, 2026, we have 26 subscribers spanning 3 countries and 12 states, and I feel incredibly lucky. My goal by the end of February is 60 subscribers, and I genuinely believe it’s possible.
Each month, you’ll receive a 5x7 print of an original painting of mine, a letter, a playful activity, and a small surprise.
Beyond simply learning to love every beautiful piece of life, big or small, there are a few other reasons I started this club:
I believe deeply in the power of play
I want to become a better painter
I love sharing my art with the world, and this allows me to do it on a broader scale
I want to be a source of inspiration and be inspired by others
I’ve been saying all year that I want to grow beyond earrings, and this is my chance
I want to be more intentional about play in my own life
I love editorial design and want to use more of my degree in my business
But the most important reason is this: I want this art journey, this community you’re a part of, to truly feel like a community. Something that exists beyond social media. Something you get to look forward to each month.
The world feels dark and scary, and I hope my art, my social media, and this club can be small sources of light and inspiration in your life.
If you feel called to subscribe, I’d love to have you along for the journey. If you’re already a subscriber, thank you so much for being here. And if you ever have suggestions or ideas, I’m always open to them.
If you loved January’s print but missed the signup deadline, you can still purchase it as a standalone print with the letter, zine, and activity, order a larger version, or collect the original canvas (it’s still available!).
You’re all wonderful. Let’s play this year and use our art as a form of resistance.
